Painted or Sealed Walls, Dirty Surface
Sand blast, water blast to original surface and wash thoroughly or cover wall with metal lath.
- MEASURING YOUR PROJECT
– Multiply length times the height of each surface area.
– Deduct all open areas such as windows and doors.
- INSTALLATION OVER PLYWOOD FRAME
For exterior projects, you will require a moisture barrier and also a rain screen system, for water protection. Note: (Confirm local build codes and requirements prior to installation)
- CUTTING TOOLS
The most precise cuts are obtained with a diamond blade using a wet circular saw, resulting in a more finished look, for trimming use a dry diamond circular saw. Note: Use safety glasses and dusk mask when cutting.
INSTALLATIONS FOR MOISTURE BARRIER
We recommend applying #15 felt paper or better to the surface of the wall, staple firmly secure the paper to the surface. Next apply Mortairvent 10mm (Designed by Advanced Building Products Inc).
